SEEKING PARTICIPANTS FOR STUDY PROJECT
SAFE would like to appeal for your assistance and support in this worthwhile study project being undertaken by a group of students at Temasek Polytechnic. Please see details below of how you can help. Responses are appreciated before 31 January 2017.

Study Title:
An exploratory study of the challenges faced by older lesbians and gay men in Singapore

A team of students from the diploma of Gerontological Management Studies, Temasek Polytechnic, is currently conducting a study which aims to understand more about the challenges faced by lesbians and gay men aged 50 years old and above in Singapore, the effects of these challenges on their social and emotional well-being and coping strategies used to manage these challenges.

As research in this area is scant in Singapore, the research team hopes to contribute valuable knowledge through this study.

Each participant will be required to participate in a face-to-face interview conducted by 2 interviewers, lasting about an hour. Participants’ names will be replaced with pseudonyms to protect their anonymity.

If you are interested in participating in this study, please contact the principal investigator, Mr Tan Yue Ze Andrew at 1402925J@student.tp.edu.sg or Tel: 97533414 for further details. You may also contact the Research Supervisor, Ms Emily Wong at emwong@tp.edu.sg or Tel: 67805995 for further enquiries.

Thank you!
